The ZAZU Sleeptrainer Sam Camel, also known as Sam the Lamb, is a sleeptrainer with a nightlight that can stay lit or switch off after 5, 15 or 30 minutes.
Does your child wake up very early in the morning? This is for you!
Sleeptrainer Sam is designed to show your child when it is time to stay in bed and when it is okay to wake up. This can be set at a specific time or by the length of a nap. Sam the Lamb changes colour like a traffic light, to mimic night, early morning and OK to get up.
Sleeptraining
A child does not have a sense of time. For a young child the day begins the moment he/she opens his/her eyes, which can be pretty early (and tiring) for the parents. A sleeptrainer teaches your child with visual indicators when to stay in bed and when it is OK to get up.
Time to sleep
Sam’s eyes are closed and his nightlight is red. This means it is nighttime and you need to get some more sleep.
Just a little longer
Sam’s eyes are closed but the nightlight is orange, meaning it is not much longer now. Twelve little stars disappear one by one, counting down the remaining 30 minutes.
Ok to get up
Sam’s eyes are open and the nightlight has turned green. It is OK to get up, you can now leave your room.
Eyes Open / Closed
Even very young children are able to understand this concept: at bedtime Sam automatically closes his eyes….. it is time to sleep. In the morning, at a time preset by yourself, Sam will open his eyes to start the day.
Nightlight
Sam’s red nightlight can stay lit the entire night or switch off automatically. The brightness of the screen is fully adjustable.
Alarm Clock
Sam can also be used as alarm clock for older children, who need to wake-up for school. The sound alarm is set separately from the sleeptraining function.
Naptimer
Set Sam to go to sleep for a specific amount of time : 3-180 minutes. Very convenient for an afternoon nap that does not always start at the same time.
